HAPPY HOLIDAYS....

Indeed.....I guess anyone who lives in Naija and not permanently is always in a hurry to leave for the holidays....I wonder why?
So right after R Kelly`s concert at the Mega Jam Party......everyone begun the exodus from Lagos...and alas.........21st Dec was all alone...kinda felt like being an orphan! So I thought why not call Maundu and change my flight to leave that evening instead of next morning......you would rather spend the night travelling than listening to the generators humming...ok it is not humming....sounds like a tractor! all night long....(read 24hrs generator!)..nkt!
Peaceful holidays indeed chillin at my mums place.....I guess there is no motivation to keep going to Nairobi (City....) if one has to manoeuvre through Thika Rd and it`s construction...and anyway have had enough of partying in Lagos..I came to chill ain`t it?Neither is going Coast a plan.......I damn live on a Coastal City!Only on the westside of Africa where the weather is constantly hot and no breeze.....beaches have brown sand......and the Atlantic waters so hostile that jet skiing is not a very common sport....try the Lagoon....
But to be honest......I think Holiday is really taking a break from familiarity...and that means work and family!I have been home too many times this year so it does somehow feel like any other visit only no major phone calls from my boss and no staying in a hotel......
While it is indeed Happy Holidays........this is it as far as spending too many nights in my mother`s house is concerned.....it is time to utilise the December Holiday break to see the world!

BLACKBERRY AND VIP POOL PARTY....

So finally...the curtain is closing down...i.e. year is over...festivities already starting...if your x-mas tree is not on then you have a problem...I never put up xmas decor in my house....I leave that to my mum who has a fetish for it...as a matter of fact I`m carrying those decorations I had at my pool party for her....she will enjoy them!

I know I know...some things are still painful but I have no solution yet.......Im sure one will come soon...in the meantime..I gotta deal with it...RB not a pretty place to be in at the moment....business slowed down and I guess it does have a big effect on people`s productivity.....hmmmmmm

So I come from Nokia country Kenya...and so when I landed in Naija everyone asked me to get a BlackBerry i.e. bb.........never thought I needed one neither did I care...until a few months ago when my friends...Anne,Thobi and Uby decided to put pressure on me...oh it has not been easy........Every weekend we went out..I was the only one left out as everybody got busy on their phones..taking pics..giggling...twitting etc.....and then it got worse...if you meet a Nigerian....they ask for your bb pin and not your card!What?...the worst was when I was at a shoot in Ikeja..mainland and this celeb guest asked me..do you bb?!Ah...I quickly called Lamu from Glo and told him to get me his distributor to bring me a bb!Yes that bb came to me in all manners of ways.....bos......okada...danfu etc...anyway now I have one...and all I could hear was congratulations...my friends including Joyce welcoming me to the world of technology...
So Anne and I just threw a VIP party for our Lagos friends...from all walks of life......I agree that
organising events....is dramatic but it does give you satisfaction...We went overboard with food and drinks but that`s cool....Oh had no idea my bar is such an important asset....It was the main prop show stopper...oh and my decor...I tried...but ANNE`S FLOWERS were the cherry on the cake...fantastic!Tks to all who made party Rock...Ken ensuring the house was set including flushing bathroom and the champagne!...Ice cubes from Alex and cake!Big one...wine from Tolu...Ahhhhh what a party! The props and help from Footprint team...just great...tks Ian,Otis and to Simon for the great invite! And to all my Lagos friends.....Daniel,Alex,Kaberere,Chris,Mohammed,Marco,Bisi,Lisa,Dean,Grace,Lamu,June,Wole,Tsola,Joyce,Kiage,Nick
And now to ending the year..I have to attend rb xmas party...yeah yeah.....and hopefully go home by 22nd..
HAPPY HOLIDAYS FRIENDS!

TIT FOR TAT...

So...you can never never stop being amazed by Naija!I was driving towards Surulere the other day and approached an accident scene...well there was traffic so had some few min to glimpse at the scene........well instead of seeing two people arguing over who hit who...there was this man hammering an okada that was on ground with his wheel jack!I did not get it but as my friend Anne later explained....since the motorbike guy could not afford to pay for the damaged vehicle he had hit..the owner of the vehicle decided to destroy the guy1s okada!What.....this place is strange...
The social life does continue to evolve..Terra Kulture good place to hang out....eat.....art and theatre...v vs t monologues was somehow ok....
Ah now I know so many streets in Lagos...better to drive myself over weekends..it is fun!Ahmadu Bellow Way..Saka Tinubu........etc etc..
Today is def not a good day........work is slowing down as we end the year and everybody is in a damn foul mood!Oh how long will this last....
Looking forward to Richard Bono,Gerald Albright and Angie Stone this weekend..hopefully work will not ruin this.....

Settled.......but never at ease.......

Guess when you get used to a place.........things become familiar and suddenly you have no great stories to tell?So my break home was awesome.........no laptop...no communication with office..(yeah I know people panic when nobody calls from the office?)....but really?you think you are dispensable........I`m in the process of learning to eat life with a big spade! That is how they do it in Naija......Back home in Kenya we are to conservative....we procastinate...we worry about tomorrow...we keep wondering of what if what if?And end up never really enjoying the fullness of time....and life....moral of the story?Savour every moment in time...it never repeats itself.....I am indeed appreciating Ogaland with time.........
I came to realise that when you want peace...go to Kenya...if you want chaos,robustness...go to Lagos......So Wangari got married and yeah going home.....everyone thinks you come carrying jobs in your hand bag.......why has the world not moved on?Esp relatives...?Nepotism is a thing of the past.....
The diversity of people in Nigeria...(expat community) is also amazing.......meet all sorts of people and realise that you are now operating global networks.....
Ok......more peculiar Naija habits...getting sick...Oh Lord.....when they don`t wanna work...it`s either Typhoid or Malaria....it is really ridiculous that they do not know if you have either of these ailments...you are close to deathbed hence would be missing for 2 weeks from office...but no...they miss office one two days and then back to office...I mean really?
Today..is indeed a good day......while I was busy blasting off my youngest brother....9K these kids have no idea what hustling is?)the older one...had some surprising news to share....good on you Mysa!Hoping for the best!
I know I`m settled in Naija.....but my heart is still uneasy..........I wonder why?Or I`m I being Kenya?

VACATION

Here I am again at Murtala Mohammed.......going home for vacation...ok remember my last blog read tired?..indeed I was.......Planning time at RB is always a tough one and gets the best of me......it took me a couple of crazy nights out to let it all go and now a simple break at home with family should help me sail through the year....the business numbers for my portfolio are also looking up so now I feel better.....
So what has been happening so far...the clubs in Naija are fantastic! From Aura to Auto Lounge to Club 10 to Bungalows..Reeds....Ember......Piccolomondo,Caliente,Bacchus....and I still have not been to half of them........
The strange thing is I meet more expats than Naijerians..(location..location..)..read the Island...fun times though.....
Did I say Naijerians love to spludge?Yes they drink so much Champagne and Heynessy in the clubs it is amazing.......They basically live it up and do not worry about tomorrow....all of us should learn something.....
And now I do know the tricks on how to survive in Nigeria!ACCEPT THE CIRCUMSTANCE
That FLIGHT KQ 531 had better be on time today..Im looking forward to catching up with family, friends, malls, fresh air, familiarity, driving myself....and good food!

I`M TIRED........

As the title may suggest....I really I`m tired of a lot of things that I cannot divulge on this blog...needless to say..it has been a hectic Aug with preplan 2011 in the way...this does not go away....every year..August is the worst month in rb running up and down, thinking, planning, filling in worksheet after worksheet, reviewing presentations and finally making the final pitch to the regional guys..of how good you are going to make the new year...with the great plans!!!!!!!!!!!!!...hhhmmmmm....I wonder.........My kid bro came to visit during final week of preplan and boy was it a nightmare..the guy saw me at mignight on a daily basis and early morning before I left for work.....Not a good host I must admit...but tks to Hussein my driver..he got to see a lot of Lagos.....Guilt is what I still feel......
A fasting month it has been and with my fellow MMs being Muslims..I have suffered with no Indian/Pakistan dishes to feast from......its ok!I have survived and Iftaar always works for me..it`s like postponing lunch to 7pm.....Now for these 2days of Idd...what to do what to do...decisions decisions....Spa..gym.....steam...yeah!that`s the plan..I do need a break to figure out a couple of things................................

TURNING 33.............

The reporter on that Top 40under40women article got it wrong!I'm not 36........Had no idea that years could affect me until I read that Business Daily......clearly...Im indeed a woman...
It was great being in Kenya..fresh air.......driving myself......friends ..family....good food and Java breakfast!Oh my......
So I was shooting a Nigerian TVC in Kenya...tough getting Kenyans who would pass for Nigerians lol!t took me 3days to get the perfect cast.......BUT..... no shoot ever goes on perfectly...much as I thought we would wrap up at 5pm...we had 6hrs to go...All because Sasha froze in front of the camera and could not get the facial expressions right..oh and the cute baby who kept crying for mama every sec.......we should have gotten a doll! She was a darling though...
But for the lovely bday surprise in the middle of a take...that was fantastic..I hate surprises as I do not know how to react......later in the nite found myself at Bacchus and then Sohos......Sohos does not really work for me......that Lagos flight leaves at 730am so had to be at airport 5:30am......No sleep and after my mad dash to the airport.....flight was delayed by 2hrs!I mean KQ pls.....can we ever leave on time? You shoulda seen me trying to keep awake at Java Gate 14.......torture...and so we arrive at Murtala Muhammad! And 2 Triple 7`s had arrived at the same time with KQ 532........the chaos at immigration was a mess..I spent 2hrs waiting in line to get through immigration...and thereafter...Luggage had still not appeared.....God help me!I`m soooo sleepy and tired by now..oh and irritated..........ok ok...BTW it is raining cats and dogs....so I go outside looking for my driver once I have my luggage...Lo and behold,,nowhere to be found..I try all his numbers and nothing!30min later.....I get him..he has been arrested at the car park for illegal parking...what!!!!!!!!!!!Is this the way you turn 33......Nigeria frustration never stops..I did end up getting home at 4pm in time for my second bday party but at the back of my head I kept thinking of when the Naija pain will ever stop.........lemmie try and catch up with lost sleep...

HAPPY VOTING

So at the LaCasa cigar bar at Murtala Muhammad Airport....nice....sipping on a double JWB on the rocks.....blogging...on my way home..home sweet home.....and praying for no wahala..Im not getting away from Lagos chaos to jump into Nairobi chaos....happy voting to all!
I tell you it has been a fantastic break with only SMgrs at work..running things on our own and some free weekends to pass time on much needed RnR...
Ok one more peculiar habit that I have to repeat...this thing of guys pissing everywhere is too much!too much now!chineke!.....they de piss in front of de market......buses..streets.....posh buildings..their own vehicles.....and no hiding nothing!.and I have to not look out of my windows as my driver manouvres de Honda through traffic.......I think it is ridiculous and absolutely shameless!Guys pls keep the snakes to yourself!
Dare I say I had a great weekend.?met new friends blah blah blah at the Auto Lounge Footprint Party?Cooooooooool!!!!!and then a polite Sat night at Dean`s house....Nice family he`s got.....And for de first time drove myself at night on Adeola Odeku Street..right by Eko Hotel and then into that ZENITH Rd......Ade Jose something...I`m still learning the ropes on the roads.....pretty soon will be ok....

THE WEEK IN "FOCUS"

Late nights........mouth sores.....big brother....office whining and gossip.......wahala with drivers and maids.....anonymous calls...girl power......buying new shoes........no bosses..
what a serious week!Im I blogging or on FB!? who cares.....
But for the mosquitoes..don`t understand the ones in Naija......they bite at any point i.e. in the shower, while I work away..while cooking.......and even jogging!really!
Something to look forward to this weekend..new shoes....Footprint Party..new bed..Picolomondo!..someone told me yesterday....getta a life!It`s true I need one.....and I`m getting it.....

zzzzzz..............

Mmmmmmmmmm....ok BBA All Stars on air.................who gives feedback to MNET?Not sure I have seen star quality yet!And yes Big Brother should be a man...I insist........
Had a great weekend .....Friday/Saturday..........Marcee is a nice club...and a barbecue overlooking Lagos water front is not too bad under the moonlight...precious moments...
But come Monday..worst day of my week (dahhh? I presume most of us have the blues..)..ok ok Sunday is the worst day for me....rather personal reasons....
Doing things differently this week..back to running and apples for dinner..(this is not sustainable)....cooking..(tired of my maid`s food..).also not sustainable........working late......sustainable......yeah it is planning time again in RB......I call it exam time...goes on until end September...
ok time to sleep......3 very late nights in a row on laptop not sustainable!and looking forward to going home next week..those referendum guys had better not cause mayhem as I land in the morning.....hopefully the Baks will throw in a Public Holiday to keep the troublemakers at bay...

HOME EARLY.......

Yeeeeaaah! We have a solution to watch BBA All Stars....... sms the word yes and first 10digits of your DSTV smart card no and send to 30333...and wait.........................I`m still waiting 24hrs later..someone told me they tried it today and all the DSTV channels got scrambled!lol!I will die if I have to take a trip to Multichoice to sort his out.....(and why did they have to wait after the launch of the damn show on Sunday to tell subscribers how they can activate the channel?) or was it an afterthought?or someone forgot to do their job?or they needed to create demand?ahhhh I beg!Oh!make we de vex now.......wahala!
Ok Let`s talk about work.....but not too much....I have come to learn that indeed common sense is not sooooo common among many........I have people who almost make me pluck my hair in the office on a daily basis..not one..not two.....almost everyone..........people prefer e-mail conversations vs confrontations..perhaps it is better that way because on most days.....I really want to yell out loud so I can make a point.....and if you yell and a Nigerian with their strong vocals responds...fireworks in the office!....I`m really really coming to understand why people in the office esp the expats are always in confrontational moods....bad moods.....mood swings......and the pressure to deliver results does not help..lucky are the smokers....they can take a break on one of those stuffy corridors on the office floor and let it all go........
Oh..did I tell you we get a ration of toilet rolls/lipton tea (liptan...) and sugar cubes.......you find them on your table every beginning of the month....By the way......the tissue paper is supposed to serve as napkins/serviette/face wipes for your personal use.....!Im not kidding..I cannot explain the reasons due to matters of National Security.....
Today I came home early....7:30pm because their was no diesel to run the office generator...(off course someone was responsible!...or had a mischievous idea to get everyone home early for once......PS:I overheard someone say "wish this was a Friday"...........I will diarise this for their next review....
Anyway it is all good..lemmie indulge in Edward Klein`s "THE TRUTH ABOUT HILARY"...quite a thriller....

BIG BROTHER ALL STARS

One of the things that keeps youngsters glued to their screens.....BBA....so here it is....and guess what?DSTV subscribers in Nigeria have no access to channel 198...you have to get a special permit to have this channel enabled..why?Because the govt banned the channel labelling it "immoral"..you have got to be kidding me!Besides the fact that this could be the only KEY entertainment in Naija....I`m enraged.....ok ok..KENDO and my driver will have to sort this out (read long queues at Multichoice offices.. in VI..)...
Enough with the services here but I cannot stop myself.....So I opened an account at Stanchart (funny branch name..APAPA)..this is the port bit of Lagos just like "docks" in Mombasa.......It took me 3weeks to get my ATM card and cheque book...then I needed another week to get pin number to the ATM card...and another week to get the pin no activated...!What!I mean this is a multi-national but nooooooooo the systems have gotta be down at any one point...

Hmmmmm..I have not said good things about Lagos so far today...sorry...

Ok positives..positives........eehhhh getting darted by drivers, painters, curtain guys is not my cup of tea..but it is amazing how sure the male species in Nigeria is of themselves....

LAGOS AND THE FLOODS.......

Tks June for the article from Debbie Williams on Lagos.......Yes life in Lagos is indeed a paradox......
So another week in paradise...I had heard of flooding in Lagos but loh and behold.....this week I had a brush with the floods...At about 5:00am.......serious thunderstorms and lightning flashes...somehow the Lagos thunder storms sound closer than back home? You feel like the house is shaking and the lighting is like these series of flashes in bright white light......no it`s not the Oscars....must admit a bit scary when you think that anything can happen in Naija including being struck by lightning....so the rain begun coming down hard...and I knew Park view Estate was flooded...so decided to leave by 8:00am...wesmake!Came back to house after 5min....
10:00am..my driver gets impatient and decides ok...he saw some cars drive by so assumed all is well.......so there we were attempting to cross the murky waters in our Honda Civic.....I now understand why Nigerians also drive big 4 wheel cars which are all known as "jeeps".......lol!no matter the model......2min of driving through the water and the car starts flooding..I started cursing at my driver...why oh why did I listen to him?water was gashing in fast and I started to panic..so not wanting to ruin my shoes.......my legs were soon in the air!and when the car begun moving with the current of the water...I started screaming and panicked......driver still calm.......all of a sudden..the car went off!I knew it.......sometimes you really wake up and just make the wrong decisions......
So my driver Hussein had to push the car through the water and in serious rain..I felt bad but was wondering if God was punishing him for not listening to "madam" or "mar" as it is in Naija.....made it to the Parkview gate and now how to get to work......almost everyone was stuck in water ,at home or their car too was flooded...this is now 11:00am.....car is off....it is raining.....and ???????frustration.....after trying all manners of SOS calls...hitch hiked back to my house in a "jeep"...yes I flagged down some man and left Hussein to deal with the floods and the dead Honda.........
I made it to office at 2:00pm after getting a "jeep" to drive through the water with a smaller vehicle of my colleague in tow.i.e. clear the way.......hmmmmmm
This week also said bye to my old boss a.k.a "James Bond" and welcomed new one.......a.ka."SKY".as I said....be careful how you deal with people and what you do out there..you never know who could be your next boss.....it is indeed a small world

Lagos is beautiful...this is just before the rain came down..............

Wednesday, June 30, 2010

Let`s talk about hair...yes I`m a woman...Oh how I miss the joy of a hair cut!Back in Kenya I adorned a hair cut and knowing maintaining short hair was a challenge......it was no bother with my designated hair dresser Sam.....Sam always made sure the tonged hair remained the same throughout the week...
Then come to Naija oh!Weather cannot permit African hair to stay ok,,It frizzles out under the hot humid weather leaving one to wonder if you have a hair stylist at all......!So pls world..do not blame the Nigerian women for wearing weaves........trust me...better than sporting kinky looking hair....
So far..I have opted not to go for weaves..those things are hot and considering at some point if you scratch your head they tend to shift angles (lol!)..no..no..no...PICK AND DROP it is!..It is braided hair but only braided to a certain length then let lose...you can curl it,twist it,leave it free, braid it yeah...all that and more....The thing is the braids are made in such a way your head looks so big......once when I went back home somebody said my hair "looks Nigerian"..I understand and I have no choices...And the girls who make you hair?Pls.....was easy to get to a certain stall in KMat and get your braids done in 3hrs!Yes that painful experience of 5hands pulling your head in all directions....now I opt for home service...(read these girls can exploit you!)..you pay 5000 Naira...the girl does the hair on her own and it takes minimum 6hrs!Oh I would rather a quick painful 3hrs than 6hrs of trying to watch TV,listen to my ipod and get hair done..it is such a waste of a Sunday...and worse still...the girl who makes my hair disappeared for a while....so I was jumping from one girl to the other and hmmmmm...they all have their own dramas...Ok Gloria is back!Apparently she went to Abuja?I wonder why?3months...anyway..no wahala...we thenk God!My hair gon be nice nice now....

Ok Nigerian musician I`m trying to listen to....TIMAYA ......all this music sounds the same.......but it helps understand dat de pidgin English.....going to try Fela Kuti`s shrine in the mainland...though I understand the main drink is "ALOMO BITTERS" ...he..he now that will be an experience...

Look out for next post on my experiences with a house painter, curtain guy ,electrician, plumber, and carpenter........I truly appreciate the service and jua kali sector back home now more than ever!

Six months and counting in Naija.........gotta live with it and live it up!...As I said....to live in Naija..you need a great sense of humour....
So how far now? There goes my English...two people have told me that my English is becoming "Nigerian"...I will have to go for refresher courses in English after my assignment.......hold on...two years down the lane not sure this will be reversible...but lets cross that bridge when we get there....
The weekends in Nigeria are nothing to look forward to...there is only so much to do during the day so it is better to try have a long night in a club, party or with friends and spend your daytime sleeping...or for me Saturday market go to the market and buy some groceries...what!The mamas at the market hustle you to buy their stuff you hate going out there as they shout "my sisto buy for me now...."...and amazingly the prices of perishables differ every time you visit de market so you learn to bargain...thank God for the Kyuk in me.....and these mamas have weighing scales for locals and for expats...nini hii?being snookered left right centre.....
So de President died and this being Nigeria...holiday!I was expecting it to be 7days of mourning but....ok I understand he was way dead before he came back....and he was muslim......so public holiday declared early in the morning and all and sundry were busy turning their vehicles around to go back home and enjoy another free day...Is this country serious? If holidays fall on Saturdays..they are moved to Monday..unlike Kenya where that cannot happen.....and there is a holiday every now and then...which makes me question the work ethic of NAIJA...anyway.......moving on....
Right..I fired my driver....?crazy man.......sleep all de time.....missing work and hmmm driving under the influence...I was nice and tolerant for a while....the learning is if you are too good to some de locals.....dey gon take advantage of you now......yes to the point they shout at you........?By the time I fired him...I was weak for bodi from the nonsense he decided to show me...leave me in the middle of the road etc?Hallo....who behaves like this on their job?
And I have now been driving myself around de Island.....I had no idea having a driver is soooooo intrusive...I mean they drive you to the market..to the party......to visit friends.....its like having a bff....no....better to learn to drive on your own over weekends........and leave them to drive you to work.it`s easy anyway just it is LHD and you have to negotiate the road in a sea of "okadas"
So ever tried to use a credit card in Naija..........hmmmmm happened to me in Southern Sun...and shock on me...guy asked for my password....eeeehh?I was horified because if they don`t know what to do with a cc...how do they run it...moral of the story..always carry cash...which reminds me......cash in Nigeria is a bit tacky to carry around...value is half that of Kenya....mmm yeah and so the notes come in huge bundles.....oh yeah and they smell depending on the handler .."read krokah fish"......so forget carrying cash in your Loius Vuitton purse.......nah.........paper bag baby or biiig hand bag!
And bye Wagaki..you said it takes 2years to get used to Naija..I have a long way to go..Im sure by then.....I will be writing more positive things about the place...I`m sure I will......(trying to convince myself lol!)
BTW:The locals esp n my office very helpful, supportive, cheerful and always have energy.......Nigerians truly demonstrate their passion which is one positive thing I will take away from here..they are not afraid to blow their trumpet....and is why they find themselves in all sorts of places in the world up there if they are good at what they do.........Kenyans should show what they can do more often! We are smart, professional and hardworking..but people don`t get to know this as we are so reserved..we are afraid people will say we are bragging! If it is good......flaunt it!
Haha..I`m watching that silly "Alomo bitters" TV ad in middle of world cup match..Lord so much free entertainment here.....oh another one on air..that "Devon soap" ad...love at first bath!he..he..he
And to all the pips making my stay in Nigeria manageable........merci!you know yourselves.....
BTW:I`m not talking work........its rough..leave office at 9pm everyday.......story for another day..just get used to my Nigerian written accent.......nice nice!

Thursday, April 1, 2010

So...I have just completed 3months on my Nigeria assignment with Reckitt Benckiser.Pretty intriguing experience I must say....when you land in Nigeria......first billboard you see says "WELCOME TO NIGERIA....LAND OF THE HAPPIEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD"....and I wondered why?Now I know...

For starters......the contrast with my Country Kenya is stark.Hot humid coastal weather vs the usual 25D in Nairobi.Dreadful traffic snarl ups which they call "hold ups"......and a people who are very loud in their manner of speak.Kenyans are known to be docile?...aaahh?

In my first month..I figured that to survive Nigeria "Naija"......one has to have a great sense of humour.Everything that happens is totally what you would normally not find in many countries.....Househelps and Drivers call you "Mah" meaning madam......when an accident occurs on the road...people come out to fight instead of calling the insurance.."apparently insurance does not work very well)..people eat food for breakfast e.g. jollof rice and krokah fish!People piss or crap anywhere they feel like so long as the call of nature..yes is beckoning....and most interestingly....Pidgin English which I kinda like..it is literal translation of the English language with Naija accent...

So what words ring a bell for me?......"before before"..means way back then......."shine your eyes" means open your eyes wider.....|belly touch backbone is.....one is hungry.....they greet you with salutations such as "how now" "how was your night?".."wellddone"

I moved into my house in February and was very happy to start a new home in Ikoyi...Island side.Tk God I do not have to deal with the daily morning traffic!....my experiences with the house drew my attention to what poor service culture one comes across in Naija (well vs home)....I have spent most of my weekends having people repairing this or the other..simply because of the many imperfections of house finishing. Then you have to adjust to sleeping with generators on as Power cuts are the order of the day!And Naija is...hey comp died and I was on my way home for Easter break!Yeah a reflective one..spent time with I really really love!
